Connecting generosity and joy since 2011
The Joel Barlow High School Alumni Association is a group of volunteer alumni who work together to build community and raise money for scholarships and other initiatives for Barlow students. We organize events, fundraisers, and launched an online alumni community in early 2018. Our quarterly meetings take place in the Barlow Career Office and volunteers are welcome to join remotely. Please read the section on how to register for the online community and so as soon as possible. That is where the bulk of our news and info can be found. Thank you.
WISHING YOU ALL A SAFE, HAPPY, AND HEALTHY HOLIDAY SEASON surrounded by the love of family, friends, and pets.
As we approach another holiday season we want to extend our sincere thanks to all Joel Barlow High School Alumni and staff. For the past eight years you have been our support as we continue to build our alumni network. This is hard work as we attempt to keep our alumni informed and, at the same time, reach out to those alumni who do not know we exist. We are happy to say that we have made a great deal of progress thanks to all of you.
This June we will hit our nine-year anniversary as the Joel Barlow High School Alumni Association. What once was a dream became a reality thanks to the hard work and support of many alumni and we are eternally grateful for all that you have done and continue to do. Please encourage alumni to get on our 360Alumni community so that they can benefit from the platform we offer to all of you to keep you well-connected and updated. As we approach this holiday season, be safe, be happy, and stay healthy and please help us reach our Capital Campaign goal. THANK YOU.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE
On September 12, 2019, the JBHSAA launched a capital campaign to raise enough funds to build an Alumni Reading Room as well as give an infusion of money to support our June scholarships to graduating seniors. As we have said many times, our amazing education at Joel Barlow High School gave us our legs to go out into the world and follow our dreams. Now we have this amazing opportunity to give back and show current Barlow students that our JBHSAA is still actively involved.
If everyone were to donate $25.00 our job would be far easier and our dream of having a JBHSAA Reading Room would be realized. This is one way all of you can help us. As you think about those you want to gift in 2019, please, please support this endeavor. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
We are 33% there; a remarkable feat in three months. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
To date, the CLASS OF '66 still has bragging rights for getting the most class members to donate. Maybe it will be your class that challenges those bragging rights.

Sadly we lost our much-loved Henry Bud McQuade this year. He was an amazing teacher and we were fortunate to have him attend both of our reunion picnics. He will be dearly missed.
It's all about reconnecting and sharing wonderful memories.
